How to stop being lazy? It's the worst feeling ever.

Is being lazy bad for you?

Well, it depends on when you are lazy if you are lazy after work or after a long day then it's fine to be a bit lazy. like watching some Netflix eating some sweats what more do you need after a long day? Well, that's fine but you shouldn't get addicted to this feeling it would swallow you like nothing else.

After some time being lazy you would notice that you're brain wants to do some productive but your body is accustomed to being lazy. Imagine this, you are thinking about getting up and starting to make money but you are too lazy to make a job application well that doesn't help you in life. So it's best to be lazy when you are worn out. Here are some tips that can help you get rid of laziness.

Make some manageable goals

It isn't a good idea to make an unrealistic goal directly. I recommend you make small goals per day or week Because if you make big goals then there is a bigger chance that you get unmotivated and lose interest in your goal so make some manageable goals. So you feel like you have achieved something,

if you feel like you achieved something then it's like you wanna achieve something again and again. That's a way you can stay productive because you have something to wake up to do so, it's unlikely you would be lazy again.

You could also make a big goal, with small goals, to accomplish the big goal. That way you can feel like you have achieved something which makes you motivated and focused on your goals.

From boring tasks to fun tasks

I know that doing some tasks is boring. But you can try to make it fun, It could be like hearing some music while cleaning the house which makes it less boring. You could also talk to a friend if you are walking to a place if bored, it would make you feel like you got to the destination faster.

Reward yourself

Remember to reward yourself when you accomplished something meaningful. It could be that you got promoted, or when your business is getting a lot of sales. So remember to reward yourself, like going out drinking with your friends.

Healthy living can help beat laziness

  1. Eating high-protein foods

Some food helps you be fresh and stay far away from being tired and lazy. The foods are high-protein food. High-protein foods help your blood sugar stay stable that's what makes you refreshed.

Examples of what you can eat:

  • Almonds (handful)
  • Eggs
  • Tuna
  • Greek yogurt
  • Spinach
  • Meat (for non-vegetarians)

2. Avoid high-fat foods

Don’t consume too many high-fat foods or sugary foods. Because they take a long time to digest which uses your energy.

Examples of high-fat and sugary foods you shall not eat too much of:

  • Donuts
  • majority of energy drinks
  • fried foods and fast food
  • alcohol
  • High-carb food like white-bread

3. Exercise

Feeling lazy why not exercise to get rid of the lazy feeling? Exercise helps increase energy levels, Improve mood and reduce anxiety.

What to do as exercise

  • Taking a walk outside
  • Lifting
  • Running
  • Beginning a sport
  • Biking
  • Swimming
  • Taking your dog out

4. Sleep enough

Sleeping is important for us humans to replenish the energy we used. To get better sleeping quality. Try sleeping when you haven't been on your phone for 30 minutes.

It is recommended that you sleep at least sleep 8 hours to replenish all that energy. So that you can begin on a fresh day when you wake up.

5. DRINK WATER

Staying hydrated can raise energy levels and boost brain function. It also helps maximize physical performance. A few sips of water can furthermore help perk you up if you’re feeling sluggish.
